Republicans are celebrating after their tax bill passed the Senate by a 51-48 vote. House votes again Wednesday. The GOP says the plan will help middle class families but democrats 1 call it a giveaway for the rich.
Investigators 2 are trying to figure out why the Amtrak train that derailed in Washington State was going more than twice the speed limit. Early details indicate a conductor-in-training was in the cab with the engineer when the train went off the rails.
Cardinal 3 Bernard Law, the disgraced former archbishop of Boston has died. He was 86. Back in 2002 it was revealed that Law and other church leaders transfered priests that molested 4 children without notifying police, parents.
And a dozen people are dead, about twenty others injured including seven Americans when a bus carrying cruise ship passengers to Mayan ruins flipped 5 over in Southern Mexico.
