Lucy says she wishes she "could wear" her "tennis shoes to work." 露西说她希望能“穿网球鞋去上班”。
She wishes she could is a conditional 1 construction, "I wish I could." 她希望自己能，这是一个条件结构，“我希望我能”。
"I wish I could wear my tennis shoes." “真希望可以穿网球鞋去上班”。
Tennis, "tennis," is, you probably know, a sport, 网球（Tennis），你可能知道，是一项运动，
but tennis shoes are the kinds of shoes you wear to go running or to play sports or to walk around your neighborhood, 但网球鞋这种鞋子，你可以穿着去跑步、去做其他运动或在附近散步，

Lucy can't "wear tennis shoes to work," so she has to "pick out," or select, "a pair of heels 2" to put on. 露西不能“穿网球鞋上班”，所以她不得不“挑选”，或者选择一“双高跟鞋”穿上。
Heels, "heels," refers here to a pair of shoes that have a little stick at the back of the shoe that makes the woman taller. 高跟鞋（heels）指的是后跟有一个小棍的鞋，可以让女孩子看起来比较高。
We sometimes called these high heels. 我们有时叫它高跟。
So, Lucy puts on a pair of high heels, or a pair of heels, and now she's ready to go to work. 露西穿了一双高跟鞋，现在她已经准备好了，可以去上班了。
