【finish的用法】
finish这个字是表示“结束，完成”的意思，后面可以直接接受词，比如说是工作或是家庭作业等。
A: Have you finished that assignment yet?
指派给你的那项工作完成了没？
B: Um...not quite.
呃……不完全。
另外，需要特别注意的是如果finish后面接动词的话，则动词需为动名词形态。
A: I knew if I kept at it, I'd eventually finish writing my book.
我知道如果我持续下去，最后一定可以写完这本书。
