[03:40.16]about the best ways to learn more English

[03:44.29]Many said they learnt by using English.Some students had more specific 1 suggestions.

[03:52.33]Lillian Li,for example,

[03:56.28]said the best way to learn new words was by reading English magazines.

[04:02.76]She said that memorizing the words of pop songs also helped a little.

[04:08.71]When we asked about studying grammar,she said,

[04:13.36]"I never study grammar.It's too boring."

[04:18.32]Wei Ming feels differently.

[04:21.98]He's been learning 2 English for six years and really loves it.

[04:27.34]He thinks studying grammar is a great way to learn a language.

[04:32.80]He also thinks that watching English movies isn't a bad way

[04:38.96]because he can watch the actors say the words.

[04:43.32]Sometimes,however,he finds watching movies frustrating 3

[04:53.43]Liu Chang said that joining the English club at school

[04:58.89]was the best way to improve her English.

[08:17.24]Last year my English class was difficult for me.

[08:22.07]First of all,

[08:25.00]it wasn't easy for me to understand the teacher when she talked to the class.

[08:31.27]To begin with,she spoke 8 too quickly,and I couldn't understand every word.

[08:38.71]Later on,I realized that it doesn't matter if you don't understand every word.

[08:45.87]Also I was afraid to speak in class,

[09:57.63]A few weeks ago I met an old friend for lunch.

[10:02.49]While we were on our way to the restaurant,my mobile 10 phone rang.

[10:08.05]I started to answer it,

[10:11.21]but I stopped myself because I didn't want to answer it in front of my friend.

[10:17.06]I was ashamed 11 of my old phone.

[10:20.83]It's old-fashioned,behind the times,and outdatd.
