1. President Barack Obama paid a visit to Capitol Hill on Wednesday, where he met with senate and house democrats 1 about preserving his health-care law. Obama urged congress to "Look out for the American people".
2. New York city authorities say more than 100 people suffered minor 2 injuries while a long island railroad train hit a bumping block at Brooklyn station. Metal there appeared to be from a rail pierced the bottom of the train and the wheels lifted up. The crash also damaged a work area beyond the tracks.
3. More than 100 rebels stormed a jail in southern Philippine, allowing over 150 inmates 3 to escape. Officials say it was the biggest jail break in the country.
4. And the first rain and snowfall of the winter season in Pakistan has ended a month long dry spell that has caused numerous breathing problems and water shortages. Heavy snow fell outside Islamabad on Wednesday, prompting residents to rush outside into the cold weather.
