2. The Mexican drug kingpin known as "El Chapo" is due in federal court in New York on Friday. Joaquín Guzmán was extradited to the U.S on Thursday night.
3. The African nation of Gambia has sworn in a new president. However, Adama Barrow was inaugurated in an embassy in neighboring Senegal. Gambia's outgoing president is refusing to leave office.
4. And emergency responders in central Ohio helped round up dozens of escaped cows after a barn fire. The fire broke out Thursday morning at a barn farm northeast of Columbus.
