  某人欲向我们借用物品时,由于物品种类或数量颇多,不知对方喜好为何,为表大方起见,我们可以说这句话,告诉对方可任意挑选心中想要的。

  B:Take your pick,Julie.
  乙:你尽管挑,朱莉。

  本句中的 pick 是名词,表示“选择”。 但 pick 亦可作动词用,其后若接介词 out,形成词组"pick out",表示“挑选”,相当于 choose 或 select。
