Pan是恐慌之神。潘（Pan），是希腊神话里的牧神，牧神潘是众神传信者赫耳墨斯的儿子，而名字的原意是一切。掌管树林、田地和羊群的神，有人的躯干和头，山羊的腿、角和耳朵。他的外表后来成了中世纪欧洲恶魔的原形。喜欢吹排笛，因为排笛能催眠。潘生性好色，经常藏匿在树丛之中，等待美女经过，然后上前求爱。在古希腊神话中，半人半兽的潘是创造力、音乐、诗歌与性爱的象征，同时也是恐慌与噩梦的标志。潘同时也是摩羯座的守护神。
