Chinese Premier 1 Li Keqiang says relations between China and Africa have entered a "golden period". He was quoted by African press before leaving Beijing Sunday to begin his week-long visit to the continent.
Li said both China and Africa have benefited from China-Africa cooperation. His visit is expected to expand exchanges and cooperation on poverty reduction for common development.
Li will also seek to strengthen industrial and commercial cooperation by helping 2 promote Africa's industrialization and manufacturing sector 3. Agreements on enhancing human resources and eco-environment cooperation will be aimed at sustaining the momentum 4 in Africa's long-term development.
