1:Honey, I'm sorry, it's been a long, hard day and I'm really pooped out tonight. How about just eating a bite 2 of something, watching a little television 3 and then going 4 to bed early?

2:Linda comes home every night all pooped out. I'm a writer 5 and work at home. So I cook supper for the kids 6 and help with their homework. We're busy but we manage 7 all right.

I just played five sets 8 of tennis and I'm too pooped even 9 to go take a shower。

3:Let's not invite 11 Bill; he's a real party-pooper. He sits around looking bored 12 and looks at his watch every five minutes like he can't wait to go home.

4:Joe, I'm afraid getting married 13 has turned me into a party-pooper. The truth 14 is I'd rather 15 have a quiet evening home in front of the fire with Sally than be out anywhere 16 else.
