The warm reception the delegation 1 received in China was a clear signal of the highly productive relationship which Wales and China have developed. During the visit, we signed a Memorandum 2 of Understanding with our Chinese counterparts in the scientific community. This will encourage and facilitate greater scientific co-operation between China and Wales. I understand that tomorrow morning; there will be several working group meetings to explore other areas of common interest. I look forward to receiving their report in due course.
