The Valentine's Journey 1 情人节贺卡之旅

Once upon 2 a time there was a little boy who made a valentine. 很久很久以前，有个小男孩做了一张情人节贺卡。
It was a very pretty valentine with a big red heart on it. 那是一张非常漂亮的情人节贺卡，上面印着一个大大的红心。
Under the big red heart the boy wrote in large letters, TO MY VALENTINE. 在大红心下面用大字写着，致我所爱的人。
When the valentine was finished, the little boy put it into an envelope. 情人节贺卡完成以后，小男孩把它放进了一个信封。
Then on it he wrote the address of the little girl who lived on the farm where he had visited the summer before. 然后在上面写了一个住在农场的小姑娘的地址，去年夏天他刚刚去过那个农场。
Last of all, he put a stamp up in the right-hand corner of the envelope. 最后他在信封的右上角贴上了邮票。
The little boy was in such a hurry to send the valentine on its journey that he did not stick the stamp on very well. 小男孩匆匆忙忙要把这张情人节贺卡送上它的旅程，连邮票都没有贴好。
Two of its corners were loose 3, but the boy did not notice that. 邮票的两个角都张开了，小男孩没有注意到。
Quickly he ran to the mail box at the street corner, pulled down the handle 4, and pushed the envelope through the opening 5. 他飞快地跑到了街角的邮箱，拉下把手，透过开口把信封塞了进去。
"Please take this valentine to the little girl on the farm," said the boy to the mail box. 请一定要把这个情人节贺卡寄给那个农场上的小姑娘，男孩对着邮箱说道。
Then he ran back to his home. 说完他便跑回了家。
