没出过差的朋友可以仔细看看下面这段，特别是需要到国外出差的朋友，很多的国外的酒店只接收美金和信用卡结账，有些只接受信用卡。就像我的前老板的不久前的一次中东之行，在迪拜的机场的大型购物中心就只可以信用卡结账，结果有美金也买不成东西，难免扫兴。有可能有出国商务考查的朋友可就要注意这点了。

Desk Clerk: Comfort Inn, may I help you?

Mr. Lee: I’m looking for a hotel near the convention center.

我想找一家在会议中心附近的酒店。

Desk Clerk: You’re in luck! We’re just a two-minute drive from there. Would you like to make a reservation?

Mr. Lee: Not just yet. I have one or two questions. How much for a single?

Desk Clerk: During the peak season, a single room goes for 50 dollars on a night. But we’ve got a Single Super Saver Special going on right now – only $30 a night. And we’ve also extended our checkout 1 time to 2:00 in the afternoon. And since its low season you might consider taking a double for $50 or a suite 2 for $60.
