　　B: Great. It is time to discuss this issue. In fact we are doing this now. What would you like to know about the packaging?
　　很好，是讨论这个问题的时候了，事实上我们正在做包装工作。对于我们的包装问题，您想知道些什么呢？
　　A: What are you using wooden boxes to case our cargo 1.
　　你们用什么来包装这批货物呢？
　　B: We are using wooden boxes to case our cargo.
　　我们用的是木质的箱子来包装。
　　A: Why don't you use plastic bags instead? If you do so, the cost will be down.
　　为什么不用塑料袋来包装呢，如果用塑料袋，包装成本就可以降低。
　　B: Adopting plastic bags will surely cut down on the cost and it will be easier to deliver. But taking the bad effect into consideration, we described to use wooden cases.
　　采用塑料袋包装确实能够降低成本，而且也能使运输更便利一些。但是考虑到塑料袋包装产生的不良后果，我们决定采用木质箱子来包装货物。
　　A: Would you like to make further explanation? What bad impact will plastic bags have?
　　您可以给我详细解释一下吗？塑料袋包装会产生什么样的不良影响呢？
　　B: Well, using plastic bags is harmful to our sustainable development, plastic bags can not break down for many years and that will have a really bad effect on our environment. Wooden cases, on the contrary have many advantages in packaging. Firstly they are stronger than plastic bags to protect our cargo from being damaged. Secondly 2 wooden cases can be repeatedly used and therefore to some extent the packaging with wooden boxes will cost less.
　　嗯，使用塑料袋包装不利于可持续发展，塑料袋很长时间不能够分解掉。正相反，木质箱子在包装上有很多的优点。首先木质箱子比塑料袋更结实，能够防止货物被损坏。其次木质箱子能够被重复利用，因此在某种程度上能够减少成本。
　　A: What other measures in the process of packaging are you taking to make sure that the cargo will arrive without being damaged.
　　在包装上贵方还采取了那些措施来确保货物能够安全地到达？
　　B: Wooden-box packaging and overall stuffing will protect our cargo from vibration 3 and jarring. Foam 4 is used in each case to protect the cargo against press. Besides, we have waterproof 5 paper at the bottom of each case to avoid rain and humidity.
　　木箱包装还有密实的填充会防止我们的货物的受震和开裂。每个箱子底下都垫有泡沫来防止货物受压。每个箱子底下都有防水纸张，以免货物被潮湿和雨水侵蚀。

　　“cut down on”意思是“减少某方面的数量、价格等”，
　　例如：He has to cut down on the consumption of meat. 他不得不减少吃肉。
　　“sustainable development”为固定短语意为“可持续发展”。
　　例如：Sustainable development will not break the bank. 可持续发展计划不会让银行倒闭。
　　“on the contrary”意思是“正相反”，
　　例如：I'm not weak. On the contrary, I'm very strong. 我不懦弱。正相反，我很坚强。
