-Go down this street,turn right at the third crossing and then you'll find it.

-Excuse me,but could you tell me where Shoudu Cinema is,please?
-Shoudu Cinema?Let me see.Oh yes,of course,I know.It's in Chang'an Avenue 1,oposite the Telegraph 2 Office Builing.
-Is that near here?
-Oh yes.Just walk along this street until you get to the traffic lights.Go across the avenue through the subway.Then turn left and walk about fifty
metres.Shoudu Cinema is on your right.You can't miss it.
-Oh,I see.Thank you very much.
Dialogue 3
(A is a stranger in New York City.He is asking B where the nearest drugstore is.)
-Excuse me.Could you give me some directions?
-What are you looking for?
-A chemist's but I don't have a car.
-Well,there's one about five blocks away on Elliott Street.
-How do I get there?Walk straight ahead until you come to the second traffic light.Then turn right.
-Do you know the name of the street?
-I can't remember,but it's the second light.Turn right and the chemist's will be on your left about two blocks down.It's next to a bank I don't think
you'll have any trouble finding 3 it.
-Thanks a lot I appreciate it.
Dialogue 4
(In front of the Beijing Foreign Studies University)
-Excuse me,do you happen to know if there is a branch of the Bank of China near here?
-Just a minute~let me think~Yes,I know.The nearest one is LiMing 4 Branch close to the Beijing Friendship Hotle.
-And ~er~I' sorry to trouble you further,but would you say it is possible to walk there or is it too far?
-Well,er~it would take about twenty minutes to get there on foot,I should think.but you culd take a number 323 bus,which goes straight to te Beijing Friendship Hotel.
-Thank you.But could I ask you one more question?
-Sure.
-Could you tell me where the bus stop is?
-Look,it's just over there.
-Thanks very much.

-Oh,let me think a moment~um~yes,there are two hotels,they're in Xuan wumenwai Street~er~one on each side of the road.
-Right ,well,I expect we'll manage to fink one of those.Thank you.
