今天我们要讲的美国习惯用语是：rock bottom. Rock是岩石的意思，bottom是底部的意思，Rock bottom连在一起，就是最低点的意思。
我还记得几年前，我先生的公司有个老板很凶，据说是个十足的暴君。我先生经常抱怨说，他们办公室士气低落。It was rock bottom. 我想，凡是经受过沉重打击的人，都曾有这种感受。让我们听听下面这个人的经历。
