我舅妈在一个养老院做义工。开办这家养老院的公司想投资装修大厅，但是我舅妈知道，老人们真正想要的其实是一架新钢琴。于是她组织大家开会，并且联名上书。结果，她的建议被采纳了。也就是说，her suggestion was able to carry the day.
