单向乐队（One Direction)是一支来自英国的男子乐队组合。五位成员的平均年龄都在19岁左右，他们最小的18，最大的20岁。这五个年轻帅气的小伙子通过英国一档著名选秀节目The x-factor（英国偶像）脱颖而出，在参赛的最初，他们并不是一个组合，他们作为个人选手通过了选拔赛并进入了训练营，却没有成功进入男生组评委之家。2010年7月23日，在一位评委的提议下，这五个青少年被组成了一个组合，从而晋级，并一举夺得了当季比赛的季军。之后签约一家唱片公司 在2012年的伦敦奥运会闭幕式上，One Direction组合演唱了代表作"What Makes You Beautiful 1"将现场的气氛推向高潮。
