1. be downsized...
指的是公司裁员。在这里大家注意它和fire之间的区别。两个词都有被解雇的意思，但是fire指的是因为某种原因而被解雇了，downsize 则是指因为公司要减少开支等原因而裁员。
2. bring home the bacon
