我们今天要学的习惯用语都以deal这个词为中心。Deal作名词的时候意思是“买卖、交易或者协议”。我们要学的第一个习惯用语是: cut a deal。Cut a deal意思是达成决定性的协议。接下来我们先要听一个例子。这是一名记者在报导一家美国航空公司和竞争对手一家外国航空公司达成协议合营的事情。这个合营的决定似乎对双方都有利。
