2018年1月14日打开谷歌，看到的是这样的搜索界面。上面大大的写出了“谷歌”的拼音，还有一个其实还有很多人不知道的中国人。他就是周有光。2017年1月14日凌晨3点
周有光去世，享年112岁，为了纪念他，谷歌特意将其页面Logo翻译成拼音。他被称为“拼音之父”，正是他，为我们推开了和世界连接的大门。
他通晓英、法、日三门外语，经历了晚清、民国、新中国三个时代。跨越了经济、语言、文化三个领域。曾和爱因斯坦聊天下大事和溥仪做“饭友”， 还和胡适、徐志摩、老舍、周恩来、陈毅成了亲密的朋友。他谦逊而博学，大家都称他为：周百科。在他去世的那一年，美国CNN也进行了特别的报道，今天我们就来听一下这段新闻：

The Chinese linguist Zhou Youguang, he is the father of Pinyin. And if you've ever tried to learn mandarin Chinese, you know that Pinyin is a way to convert Chinese writing into Romanized words, so that you can just read them aloud. Here is a very very simple explanation without the intonation symbols. Uh, if you've never seen these characters, there is no way that you can read them or pronounce them. But if you change them into Pinyin, you could say them: Chun jie Hui Jia. It means returning home for the lunar new year. The system was adopted by China the late 1950s and it is credited to boosting literacy rates there.
