Until he does so, he labors 1 under a curse. He writes not of love but of lust 2, of defeats in which nobody loses anything of value, of victories without hope and, worst of all, without pity or compassion 3.

1 labors

5 immortal
adj.不朽的;永生的,不死的;神的
- The wild cocoa tree is effectively immortal.野生可可树实际上是不会死的。
- The heroes of the people are immortal!人民英雄永垂不朽!
