The Yunnan Charity Federation 1 has opened two official bank accounts to receive donations to help the victims of the quake. If you’d like to give a helping 2 hand, you can transfer donations to either account shown on the screen, one at the Agricultural Bank of China, and the other at the Bank of Communications. You can also donate at the federation’s websites
E-commerce giant Alibaba is cooperating with three major foundations and has provided various opportunities for people to donate. You can visit love.alipay.com, or taobao.com, where the donation channels will be at the top of the pages.
Mobile apps have also been re-designed for collecting disaster relief donations. You can also donate through Alipay, and Tencent’s messaging app WeChat.
Meanwhile, due to a forcast of rainy weather of the next few days, tents, quilts and blankets are badly needed. Blood and medicine are also scarce at local hospitals.
