After talks with South Korean officials, the US Special Envoy 1 for the Six-Party Talks on the DPRK's nuclear issue, Sydney Seiler, will arrive in Beijing today on his second stop.
On Wednesday, the US envoy met with the South Korean Director-General of the DPRK's Nuclear Affairs Bureau, Shin Chae-hyun. Seiler said the US will continue to push for the resumption of talks. He emphasized once again that denuclearisation of the DPRK will bring positive results, not only for the six parties involved in the talks but also for the country itself.
Russia's envoy for the Six-Party Talks, Grigory Logvinov, also visited Seoul on the DPRK's nuclear issue on Wednesday.
