One of the "Occupy Central" movement organisers anonymously 1 donated 1.45 million Hong Kong dollars to the University of Hong Kong.
However, some members of the local media have revealed they received documents showing that the donor 2 was Tai Yiu-Ting, who allegedly he wrote three cheques to the university from May 2013 to January 2014.
The leaked documents reveal donations of 800,000 HK dollars to HKU’s Public Opinion Program; 200,000 HK dollars to the Faculty 3 of Arts; and 300,000 HK dollars to the Faculty of Law. A further 150,000 HK dollars was also donated by Occupy co-organiser Chu Yiu-ming from a find-raising dinner.
