So I decided 4 that I really wanted to buy a Dita Von Teese's book, the art of the tease. That's a good book. And, um, and so there is only one place that sells it which is the Upper West Side, and I had to go. Well, my brother and I decided , we, we were gonna, I have a dog, we were gonna take her for a walk. It was great it was like 40 blocks to Central Park and across town. And on the way back we stumbled upon a naked marathon.
M: Whoa
F: Yeah!
M: Really, a naked marathon?
F: Okay, it wasn't quite naked. It was a skimpy marathon. But, I got your attention.
M: Yeah.

F: Neither do I, but it was a New York moment.
M: Yeah, And how, how many people seemed to be participating?
F:A couple hundred , probably. (Really?) Maybe a little over a thousand. And it was kind of I, I'm gonna sound really terrible for saying this, but you know with marathons you always get people of different commitment level, different levels of fitness. And in this case, as they pulled ahead, the American got progressively less toned as people came up. And you just wanted to, you wanted to cheer extra hard for the stragglers.
M:I just, I, I can't really get my mind around this, the idea is we are gonna run some lengths, some designated mileage 5.
F: well, 27 miles.
