 Oscar winner Denzel Washington is back in “The Equalizer”. He is an all-too-human hero trying on the dark paths to defeat some very bad guys. Take a look.

 
“The men I killed, your men, I gave them a chance. They made their decision. I’m giving you the opportunity to make yours. (I’ve) done some bad things in my life. I promised someone that I loved very much that I would never go back to being that person. But for you, I'm gonna make an exception.”
 
And Denzel is here right now. And what we just saw there is the dark McCall in that scene.
 
That’s the dark McCall, yeah, he wasn’t deniable about his past. (He) didn’t want to go back to what circumstances dictate 1 that he, that he must.
 
He’s such a complicated character. When he's not being kind of a super hero, he's living this ordinary life alone, insomniac 2, lot of O.C.D.
 
Lot of O.C.D, yeah, yeah.
 
What was that about?
 
Well, you know, the script gave me certain clues. He kept checking his watch all the time. So that made me think about obsessive 3 behavior. Then I started doing research and one night I decided 4: okay, this is what he’s got. Opening and closing doors and…

Same tea bag, folds in napkin in a certain way, you know, just like what we do at home.
 
Everyday. But boy, he’s a killer 5 when he wants to be. And this is a throwback to show. I didn’t know about this back in the 80s, but I guess there’s a show called “The Equalizer.”
 
Equalizer, yeah. I didn’t watch it either.

You work with one of our best young actresses Chloe Grace.

There’s a mark on the Instagram. Just wanted to know what the experience was like. What was special about her?
 
She’s a very talented and wise young lady, very professional, and just very good actor, very good actor.
