A: Allow 3 me to introduce your new boss to you. I suppose 4 you have got 5 the news 6. He is Anderson from America.
我介绍一下你们新上任的上司。我想你们已经知道了，他就是从美国来的安德森。
B: Nice to meet you.
大家好。
A: Well Anderson, would 7 you like to say something now?
那么，安德森，你有什么要说的吗？
B: No, thank you. I just want to have a look at our work here.
不，谢谢。我今天只是想看一看大家工作的情况。
A: Tom, please show Anderson around our company 8.
汤姆，你带着安德森先生去看看公司。
B: OK, this way please.
好的，这边请。
A: It was 9 nice meeting 10 you.
很高兴见到你们。
“allow 接宾语+不定式”：意思是“允许，（使）成为可能”。
eg. Your gift allows 11 me to buy a car.您的馈赠使我有可能买辆车。
vt.介绍；引进；提出
- Allow me to introduce myself.请允许我自我介绍一下。
- Let me introduce myself to you.让我向您做个自我介绍。
n.老板，上司；v.指挥，控制
- When the boss gets mad, leave him alone.当老板生气时，不要理他。
- I'm my own boss.我自己当自己的老板。
vi.(for)考虑到；vt. 允许，准许
- Will your father allow us to use his telephone?你父亲肯让我们使用他的电话吗？
- The river is too deep to allow of swimming.河太深，不能游泳。
v.料想，猜测；假定，以为；（祈使句）让，设
- I suppose he will be back by eight o'clock.我想他八点钟以前会回来。
- Suppose he can't come,who will do the work?如果他不能前来，谁来做这项工作呢？
v.(get的过去式)得到，猜到，明白
- I just got some bad news.我刚得到一些坏消息。
- I have got far too much work to do.我要做的事太多了。

- Why would you say that?为什么你会这么说？
- Would you please help me?你能帮帮我吗？
n.会议；集会
- Will you be at the meeting?你会来开会吗？
