-Do you mean the Vice 1 Director Zhang in charge of Financial Affairs Department?What's matter with him?
-I heard that the persons from the Law-Office had talked with him.
-In his office?
-No,they sent the subpoena 2 here,and asked him to talk in the Law-office.
-Really?How is it going on now?
-I am not sure,but he came back that afternoon with a serious face.
-What's the problem?About corruption 3?
-It is quite possible .You see what he acted every day,and I had to flatter him.It's better that he got arrested.
-You treated him so complaisantly,but now you say this ,only you can do that.
Dialgue 2
-Whatever you're doing,you'd better postpone 4 it.It looks like we're going to be doing David's job,too.You won't believe what's happening.
-So inform me.
-David is in with the boss getting reprimanded for not arriving to work again because of sickness.I'm telling you,the guy gets totally drunk just about every night and then can't arrive to work the next day.And when he does,he keeps making mistakes.
-He's inefficient 5 when he's completely sober.
-Well,if he doesn't improve his behavior soon,he's going to get himself fired.
-I agree.The thing that annoys me is that when David drinks,he gets suddenly angry and starts speaking rudely to everyone,then doesn't have the slightest idea why people are mad at him the next day.
Dialogue 3
-I wonder when our head Mr.Liu will come back from Beijing.
-As far as I know,he will come back on Sunday.Why do you have anything to say?
-Oh,I want to ask a week off.
-What's the matter?
-Nothing in fact.I just feel a little tired since I was back from inspecting rural enterprises.And I'd like to have a good rest and relax myself.
-I don't think you'll be allowed to take days off.I hear that we'll submit what we checked to headuquarters.And we'll be very busy for several days.
-Then I have to delay my plan for a holiday.
