Stephen Hawkins has died at the age of 76. He was the best-known theoretical physicist 3 of his time despite being afflicted 4 with ALS which left him debilitated 5 for decades.
Thousands of students across the US are expected to walk out of classes Wednesday to demonstrate against gun violence. The protests come one month after the deadly school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
And the third big northeast snow storm of the past two weeks has left some towns buried beneath two feet of snow. Meteorologists say strong winds, and blowing snow made the storm a blizzard 6 in Boston and other parts of New England.
