Iraqi military commanders say they believe hundreds of Islamic State fighters are holed up in a narrow area of Mosul and using entire families as human shields. The Iraqi soldiers are trying to clear out the remaining militants 4.
And Venezuela has marked 100 days of anti-government protests. Demonstrators are angry about President Nicolas Maduro's plan to have the country's constitution rewritten, saying he's trying to make himself a dictator.
