At least two major wildfires have burned more than 50 square miles in the Reno, Nevada area. Firefighters say sage 3 and grass are giving the fires plenty of fuel, and consistent winds are fanning the flames.
And New York City's July 4th fireworks display included about 60,000 shells launched from five barges 4. Huge crowds gathered around the East River to watch the show.
