Donald Trump 1 says he raised 5.6 million dollars for veterans during a January fundraiser in protest of a Fox News debate. He also named the charities that received the money. The presumptive Republican nominee 2 had been under pressure to account for the money he raised. Previously 3, he claimed the fundraiser had collected 6 million dollars.
President Obama is urging Americans to be prepared this hurricane season. Obama was briefed by officials at FEMA Tuesday, a day before the start of hurricane season. He encouraged people to develop their own evacuation plans. This year's Atlantic hurricane season is projected to be near normal after 3 relatively 4 slow years.
In northeast Colorado, video shows a tornado 5 ripping apart a barn. The National Weather Service says the tornado was on the ground for about 30 miles near the town of Peetz. No injuries were reported.
And in Texas, a hacker 6 with a political motive 7. Morning commuters in the Dallas Areas drove by electronic construction signs displaying "Bernie for president" and "Donald Trump is a shape shifting lizard 8." It appears the signs were hacked 9 to display the message.
