1. Workers trying to prevent a meltdown at a Japanese nuclear power plant are being allowed to return to their jobs. That follows an evacuation overnight when radiation levels became too dangerous. The death toll 1 from Friday's earthquake and tsunami 2 is nearing 3,700, but nearly 8,000 people are still missing.
2. Clash between anti-government protesters and soldiers has become deadly in Bahrain. Witnesses and officials say at least six people are dead, believed to be three protesters and three police. Demonstrators were driven out of the main square in the capital with tear gas and armored vehicles.
3. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has visited Cairo's Tahrir Square, the site of the fight to oust 3
former President Hosni Mubarak. Clinton is on a two-day visit to Egypt to encourage the people and their government to follow through on promises of democratic reforms.
4. And it's a dog day at Chicago's Brookfield Zoo. The zoo debuts 4 ten African wild dog puppies born in November - a litter from one of only three successful breeding programs in North America.
