1. The man accused of gunning down two American airmen at the airport in Frankfurt has been ordered held in prison. A German security official says the ethnic 1 Albanian Muslim has confessed targeting the US military.
2. President Barack Obama says Libya's Muammar Gaddafi has lost the legitimacy 2 to lead and must leave. The president also says the violence must end in Libya where Gaddafi is attempting to put down an uprising.
3. The AP has learned that there is proof that an American missing in Iran for four years is still alive. Robert Levinson was last seen there back in March of 2007.
4. Carnival 3 is going green. Samba schools are designing more environmental floats and costumes for this year's festival which kicks off Friday in Rio de Janeiro.
