颜色的常用英语表达：green stuff

 　　1、rub of the green

　　(golf) Any accidental deflection of the ball by an outside agency (spectator, caddie etc). If you have the rub of the green, you have good luck, especially in a sports competition
　　在高尔夫里，任何因为外界因素(观赛者、球童等)产生的偶然偏转。后来也就衍生出来指预想之外的那些助你一臂之力的运气啦~如果你得到了“rub of the green”，你就得到了幸运，特别是在各项体育竞技中。

　　7、flourish like a green bay tree
　　To thrive; to grow very successfully. The green bay tree is known to grow several new branches every year.

　　8、a little green
　　1) Having little or no experience in a given field, specialty 4, or skill. It refers to the color of young vegetation,which has not fully 3 matured.
　　在某个领域、专业或技能中，只有一点或完全没有经验。就好像初期的植物，没有完全成熟。
　　I know the new apprentice 5 is a little green, but I think she'll do just fine in the new position.

　　A figurative trait attributed to someone who is a skilled gardener. Primarily heard in UK, Australia.

　　My mom can keep any plant alive, even ones that I've nearly killed—she seriously has green fingers.
　　我妈妈能让任何植物存活，甚至哪些我几乎养死的植物——她真超擅长园艺。
　　10、a hedge between keeps friendship green
　　Friendships are more likely to be successful when there is a level of space and privacy between the friends.
