Upon a common summer's morn -
A flask 2 of Dew - A Bee or two -
A Breeze - a caper 3 in the trees -
And I'm a Rose!
A few lines and there is an idyllic 4 summer image. She herself becomes the rose. In her is the sepal protecting the precious flower within. In her is the luscious 5 petal of the flower itself, - as well as the painful thorn that protects from depredations 6. Give her just dew, bees, a bush and a breeze and she is fine with simply being a rose.
一个萼片，一叶花瓣，和一根荆棘
在一个普通的夏日晨曦—
一瓶露水—一只或两只蜜蜂—
一缕轻风—一株马槟榔长在树林里—
而我，则是一朵玫瑰!
