Recitation 1

MayI love buffet 2. Better yet if it's an Italian buffet. There is one such place, downtown. It's interesting that the customers there would be charged by their weight. The only problem about it is overeating. People just don't know when to stop. Anyway you can't have everything.

Gucci: It's too expensive. Ten cookies cost a bundle 3.

May: I noticed that they have Italian buffet upstairs. Maybe we should have chosen that?

Gucci: Let's do it, now.

May: What is the charge of buffet for each person?

Waitress: It depends on your weight. Come on to the scale 4, please!

Gucci: Interesting! Look, I'm 45kg.

May: Me, 46kg.

Waitress: 50 yuan for each.

Gucci: I love it. Look, they've got everything.

May: Wow, coffee and cheese puddings. Love it.

Gucci: It's the only neat decision we made today!

May: It is. And it's not all bad now.

Gucci: No more for me. I'll all set.

May: Me either. That's the problem about buffet. Always over eating.

Gucci: You can't get everything.

bundlen.

noticevt. 注意

buffetn.

cheesen.

puddingn. 布丁

注释

1.Ten cookies cost a bundle.

2.You can't get everything.
