【情景再现】
Catherine所在的公司每周一召开例会。这天又是星期一，刚午休完毕，大家还没缓过劲儿来，只见美国老总突然急匆匆走过来，气喘吁吁地说：Round everybody 1 up, we must hold a meeting 2 right now.
Round everybody up. 大家集合。
round在这里是动词，当和副词up连用时，表示“使人或物聚拢来，使某人[某物]集合在一起”，所以round sb./sth. up意思就是“使人或物集合起来”。例如：The guide 3 rounded up the tourists 4 and led 5 them back to the coach 6. 导游把游客集合在一起，领他们回到车上。

Benjamin: Round everybody up. It's time for our business 7 meeting.
本杰明：大家集合，开会时间到了。
Todd: OK. We will be ready.
