注解1：be in a position to do something
释义：to be able to do something, usually because you have the necessary experience, authority 1 or money )（因有能力，有资格，有权利，有金钱等）能够去做某事
Eg.I'm not in a position to take care of this business.
这事我管不了。
Eg.I'd like to help you, but I'm afraid I'm not in a position to do so.
我是很愿意帮你忙的，但是我现在没有能力这么做。
注解2：put sb in a position to do something：使某人能够做某事
Eg.I'm sure they'd like to help her out financially but their diffcult situation put me in a position not to do so.
我相信他们是愿意在经济上帮她解决困难的，可以由于他们自己的处境，他们做不到。
Eg.My divorceputs me in a position to wind the hand of Mary who can speak the same language with me now.
现在我离婚了，我可以够娶和我志趣相投的Mary为妻子了。
注解3：beauty在这句话中是“person that is beautiful”的意思，是指“美人”。
Eg.She was a famous beauty in her youth.
她年轻时是个有名的美人。
