名词所有格
英语中很多名词可以加's来表示所有关系，这就是名词所有格。
1．名词所有格主要用于表示人的名词，表示“（某人）的”
单数名词在词尾加's，复数以s结尾的，只在结尾加'，不以s结尾的，加's。例如：
my teacher's book 我老师的书
May's diary 阿美的日记
the boys' basketball 那些男孩的篮球
2．表示无生命的名词，一般用“of + 名词”的结构
the gate of the amusement park 游乐场的大门
3．有些表示时间、距离等无生命和表示世界、国家、城镇等名词，除了用“of + 名词”的结构外也可以在词尾加's变成相应的所有格
ten minutes' walk 十分钟的路程
today's newspaper 今天的报纸
4．用and连接的两个或两个以上的名词，如果一物为两人所共有，则只在后一个名词后加's，如果不是共有的，则两个名词后都加's

5．双重所有格
双重所有格由“of + 名词所有格”构成。如：
a friend of my brother's = one of my brother's friends
