　　The U.S. envoy 1 to six nation talks on disarming 2 nuclear North Korea has said they reached agreement on the principles for verifying Pyongyang's denuclarization. However, the envoy, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill, says negotiators still have a lot of work ahead of them.

参加解除北韩核武器六方会谈的美国特使、美国助理国务卿克里斯托弗·希尔表示，谈判各方在证实北韩无核化问题上达成了共识。然而，希尔又说，谈判代表仍然有大量工作要做。

After a long first day of resumed negotiations 3 with North Korea, the U.S. envoy told journalists the six sides had an agreement on the mechanism 4 for determining whether or not Pyongyang is hiding any nuclear facilities or materials, but only on principles.

He said they agreed that verification needs to include inspectors 5 visiting nuclear sites, receiving documents, and interviewing North Korean nuclear staff. But, he said they agreed on few more details.

希尔说，谈判代表同意证实工作必须包括核查人员到现场视察，得到各种文件以及跟北韩核工作人员面谈等。不过，希尔表示谈判代表还没有在细节方面取得共识。

"The key thing will be tomorrow when the denuclearization working group meets to actually work out the actual protocol 6. So, they have a lot of work ahead of them," said Christopher Hill. "So, I hope they're getting a good night's sleep, better than we're getting here at midnight."

希尔说：“关键在于明天，无核化工作小组将开会制定出确切的方案。因此，他们有大量工作要做。我希望他们今晚睡个好觉，比我们在这里睡得好。”

Hill said most of the six delegates, which also include China, South Korea, Japan, and Russia, held bilateral 7 meetings before the heads of delegations 8 met Thursday afternoon and into the evening.
