英语课
音乐流派：
Jazz： 爵士，包括有cool jazz, bebop, acid jazz, swing, fushion等。 Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Chet Baker 1。Acid jazz(酸爵士，把R&B的元素融入jazz里)。
Blues 2： 蓝调，19世纪发源于Mississippi的Delta地区。除了Delta地区的蓝调外，还有Chicago地区的蓝调。Joe Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Blind Willie Mctell, B.B.King。
Folk: 民谣。Boy Dylan。
Pop： 流行音乐。Britpop是英伦流行音乐，the Beatles, Placebo 3, Oasis 4。
Country：乡村音乐，John Denver, Garth Brooks 5。
Classic Rock：主流摇滚。the Rolling Stones，Eagles，Rod Steward，the Beatles。包括有pomp rock/glam rock(华丽摇滚 David Bowie, Queens)。acid rock / psychedelic(迷幻摇滚 Pink Floyd)。
Rock： folk rock(民谣摇滚Simon&Garfunkel)，progressive rock(前卫摇滚 类似于acid rock, Genesis)，jazz-rock fusion(爵士摇滚Chicago)，pop rock(流行摇滚 matchbox twenty)，punk rock(朋克摇滚 Red Hot Chili 6 Peppers)，blues rock(蓝调摇滚the Who)
Alternative Rock： 另类摇滚，包括punk(朋克 Green Day, Offspring, Sex Pistols)，hardcore(硬核 The Clash, Sonic Youth)，Goth(哥特摇滚 the Cure, Bauhaus)，industrial(工业摇滚 Nine Inch Nails)， grunge(油渍摇滚 Nirvana, Pearl Jam)，new wave(新浪潮 Inxs, Tears for Fears)，post-punk(后朋克 Joy Division, R.E.M., UB40)，Brit Rock(英伦摇滚 Oasis, Blur)。
Heavy Metal： 重金属，Guns&Roses，Led Zeppelin，Metallica，Def Leopard，Van Helen
Hard Rock： 硬摇滚，Bon Jovi，Aerosmith。
R&B： 节奏蓝调，是rhythm and blues的缩写。属于美国黑人的音乐范畴。Stevie Wonder，Michael Jackson。
Funk： 疯克，可以算作R&B的一种，Prince。
Hip-hop 嬉蹦
Rap： 饶舌乐，MC Hammer(MC就是饶舌者的意思)，Dr.Dre，Eminem，Beastie Boys。
Dance & DJ： 跳舞音乐。Disco(the Bee Gees，ABBA)， House(浩室，由Disco演化而来，M-People，BT)，Techno(比House节拍快，发源于 Detroit，Moby)，Gabber(techno的极端形式，节拍为400-500bpm)，Trance(迷幻舞曲Paul van Dyk)， Bigbeat(大节拍 Fatboy Slim, the Chemical Brothers, Prodigy)，Drum N’ Bass(其前身是jungle，是breakbeat的灵魂，Guy Called Gerald)，Trip-hop(氛围嬉蹦，最早被称为Brit-hop, Massive Attack)
Raggae： 雷鬼，Bob Marley。
Fushion： 指不同种类的音乐曲风的融和。
1 baker
n.面包师

- The baker frosted the cake with a mixture of sugar and whites of eggs.面包师在蛋糕上撒了一层白糖和蛋清的混合料。
2 blues
n.抑郁，沮丧；布鲁斯音乐
- She was in the back of a smoky bar singing the blues.她在烟雾弥漫的酒吧深处唱着布鲁斯歌曲。
- He was in the blues on account of his failure in business.他因事业失败而意志消沉。
3 placebo
n.安慰剂；宽慰话
- The placebo has been found to work with a lot of different cases.人们已发现安慰剂能在很多不同的病例中发挥作用。
- The placebo effect refers to all the observable behaviors caused by placebo.安慰剂效应是指由安慰剂所引起的可观察的行为。
4 oasis
n.（沙漠中的）绿洲，宜人的地方
- They stopped for the night at an oasis.他们在沙漠中的绿洲停下来过夜。
- The town was an oasis of prosperity in a desert of poverty.该镇是贫穷荒漠中的一块繁荣的“绿洲”。
