Rowen County clerk Kim Davis is out of jail where she spent nearly a week for contempt of court after she refused a federal judge's order to issue marriage licenses 1 to same-sex couples in Kentucky. Moments ago, Davis briefly 2 addressed supporters, some of who held a *. Just keep on pressing. Don't let they on because he is here. They were these, were they? I love you guys. Thank you so much. Sherry Lawson at a member station, WUNKU reports on the circumstances surrounding Davis's release. The US district judge who sent Davis to jail ordered her released saying he is satisfied that the Rowan county clerk's office is complying with orders to grant marriage licenses. Roger Ghana is the lead attorney with 'Liberty Counsel' representing Davis. This is an order * by the trial judge, judge David Bunning following a report from the plaintiffs that three out of the four plaintiff couples have received marriage licenses from Kim Davis's deputy clerks. The judge 's ordering Kim Davis not to interfere 3 in any way with her deputy clerks while they issue marriage licenses to all legally eligible 4 couples. Five of the six deputies have told Bunning that they will the licenses. From NPR news, I'm Sherry Lawson in northern Kentucky.

Three more US senators now say they will support the nuclear deal, the US another world power struck with Iran, RP of Connecticut,GP of Michigan and ER of Oregon. This means that the GOP senators may never get a chance to pass their resolution of disapproval 10 and president Obama in turn wouldn't have to worry about veto again.NPR's AS waits through the senator * to explain. After weeks of keeping tabs on whether the president has enough support in the senate to sustain a veto. The target has shifted. It's no longer about overriding 11 or sustaining a veto. Now it's about whether Republicans will even be able to get the bill all the way to final passage in the senate. In parliamentary math terms, Republicans will need a total of 60 votes to get all the way to the finish line which they don't have. That doses't mean however that the round deal business has finished. The senate still intends to devote a big chunk 12 of floral time to the debate. AC, NPR news, the capital. 'Hi, I'm Steven Colbert. And I'll be hosting the late show on cibus. What's that? Oh, CBS.' Colbert takes over from a long time late night host David Letterman. He'll host the new late show from an upgraded version of the * theater in Manhattan. His guest today are John Ellis Jeb Bush. Colbert's late show is expected to follow a familiar talk show format 16 with a monologue 17 and a houseman. But this time, instead of playing a parody 18 of a cable news anchor in comedy central, Colbert will play himself.” ED, NPR news.
European lawmakers are endorsing 19 the idea of animal-cloning ban. They're also seeking a embargo 20 on imports of cloned animals and their offsprings with the leading opponents say many of cloned animals died in the first weeks and painfully.
