[07:41.97]have succeeded in cutting their energy consumption 8 by 1/3 since 1973.

[07:50.22]The first energy saving action that was taken in the early 70's

[08:09.19]so that heat will not escape unnecessarily during the winter.

[08:38.34]in the amount of natural gas and electricity

[08:48.14]There are other energy saving features about Davis.

[08:58.56]transport university students throughout the area.

[09:03.81]There are 24 miles of bicycle paths,

[09:08.85]and today there are twice as many bicycles as cars in the city.

[09:15.30]By reducing the available parking space,the city Council has succeeded

[09:34.27]is the greater number of small cars.

[09:39.02]People are saving gas because they are choosing not to drive,
