President Trump 1 tweeted that his nuclear button is bigger and more powerful than Kim Jong Un's and it works. Trump is responding to Kim's statement that North Korea's nuclear weapons are a reality and he has a nuclear button on his table.
North Korea announced it's restoring a cross-border communication channel to South Korea. Seoul welcomed the move. There's been talk of the North sending a delegation 2 to the winter Olympics in South Korea next month.
A Canadian man who was recently freed after years of being held hostage in Afghanistan is facing charges including sexual assault. Joshua Boyle and his wife were released in October in Pakistan five years after Taliban-linked militants 3 kidnapped them in Afghanistan.
The national weather service is forecasting the storm called "snow hurricane" that will bring ice and wintry weather to Georgia and Florida on Wednesday. The storm is expected to hit New England with blizzard 4 condition on Friday.
