Donald Trump's campaign chairman Paul Manafort resigned on Friday in the wake of a campaign shake-up and revelations about his work in Ukraine. Manafort's resignation comes a day after The Associated Press reported that confidential 1 emails from Manafort's firm contradicted his claims that he'd never lobbied on behalf of Ukrainian political figures in the US.
US Olympics swimmer Ryan Lochte apologied for his behavior surrounding a late-night incident at a Rio de Janeiro gas station, saying he should have been more careful and candid 2 about how he described what happened. Lochte claimed he and 3 teammates were victims of an armed robbery, but Brazilian police say the swimmers had vandalized a gas station after a night of partying and that they were confronted by armed security guards.
2 American astronauts ventured out on a space walk to install a new door for visitors at the International Space Station. The pair quickly began hooking up a docking port that will be used by future commercial crew capsules.
2 young Albino lion cubs 3 are being cared for at Yalta Zoo in Crimea. The pair was born earlier this week at safari 4 park. But their mother is blind and in poor health, so the cubs were tranferred to the zoo for proper care.
