1. Two car bombs have left dozens dead and scores hurt in Baghdad. The blasts went off about a minute apart and were targeted at government offices in the Iraqi capital.


2. President Barack Obama has declared the swine flu a national emergency. The White House says the declaration is a pre-emptive move, designed to make it easier to fight the outbreak. More than 1,000 people in the US have died from H1N1.


3. Police in New York have identified the teen who showed up in a Manhattan homeless shelter earlier this month, claiming she didn't know who she was or where she was from. Authorities say she's 18 years old and from Washington State.


4. Meet Otto the dog, may look frisky 1, but he's officially been crowned "the world's oldest canine 2". Otto is approaching his 21st birthday. That's about 145 in dog years.
