1. President Barack Obama says Iran has two weeks to allow international inspectors 1 into a nuclear fuels plant whose existence was only recently revealed. Obama said Thursday that Iran must follow through on promises of transparency in its nuclear program.


2. The death toll 2 is rising in Wednesday's earthquake in Indonesia. At least 777 people are confirmed dead but many are believed to be trapped in the collapsed 3 buildings. A second quake struck Thursday morning, causing additional damage.


3. The "Miracle on the Hudson" pilots are back together. Captain "Sully" Sullenberger and First Officer Jeffrey Skiles piloted a flight Thursday from Charlotte, North Carolina, to New York. Back in January, Sullenberger was bound from New York to Charlotte when he ditched the disabled plan in the Hudson River, saving everyone on board.


4. The National Hockey League opens its regular season Thursday night with four games. Washington is in Boston, Toronto hosts Montreal, San Jose travels to Colorado and Calgary hosts Vancouver.
