2.Stephen Gately, a singer with the Irish Boy Band Boyzone died while on vacation in Spain. The cause of death is not known. Gately was in Mayorca with his partner Andrew Cowles who were wed 4 in a civil union in 2006.
3.The price for a gallon of gas continues to fall. It is down more than four cents a gallon over the past two weeks. The national Lundberg Survey put a gallon of gas at $2.47, the cheapest place for gas is Cheyenne, Wyoming, where it will cost you $2.16 a gallon to fill up.
4.The Philadelphia Phillies are one step closer to a return trip to the National League Championship Series. The Phils beat the Rockie 6-to-5 last night, taking a 2-1 series lead. The Angels and the Yankee
finished off their series and will meet in the ALCS.
